Moodle experienced an unexpected downtime from 11:27am to 11:40am PST this morning. During this time your courses on Moodle would not be accessible nor would students be able to edit or submit assignments.

Instructors: your Summer 12 courses have been added to your Moodle course lists, so you can begin course prep for next term. Students will be added to these courses on Saturday, June 16th, at 12:00pm PST.

About a week ago we had to update our log in security to force user log ins to a secure page. The new login page is https://classes.lanecc.edu/login/index.php

Learning moment ~ Note the "S" in the httpS - this stands for secure. If you are ever logging into any page (i.e. social networking, online banking, etc..) and the URL is not https you are NOT logging in on a secure page and your log in credentials are at risk.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we would not force this type of change if it was not in the best interest of our users. We are hoping to bring back the front page log in option by the Fall 12 term.
