Our Moodle hosting provider will be applying a software upgrade on Friday, December 27th between 12:30am-11:30am Pacific Standard Time (PST). During this upgrade, classes.lanecc.edu will be unreachable and/or slow to respond. Actual downtime is typically less than the hours allotted, but please plan accordingly.

Forums: Adding and replying to discussions can now be done 'inline' without navigating away from the discussion. Further Forum enhancements include the ability to star and sort discussions. Private replies within a forums will be possible along with manually locking discussion threads.
Assignments: Rotate submitted PDFs within an assignment. New icons allow you to change the orientation of submitted assignments for easier grading.
Messaging enhancements include a link to a full page, 2 column view and the ability to mute conversations. A personal space is now made for notes, links and reminders as part of the Messaging drawer.

Sitewide Theme Changes

The site will transition to utilizing a dark blue top navigation bar and a light blue bottom footer. The changes will improve overall LaneCC branding by providing better uniformity between LaneCC's website and Moodle. More importantly, it will provide clearer navigation when using a mobile browser, and make it easier to denote class content from site navigation.

Major Mobile Browser Improvements

Increased space for page content
Less thumb scrolling (yay!). Navigation breadcrumbs and page titles are now hidden within activities.
Gradebook and participant lists collapse to a simplified view.
Other minor improvements in layout to reduce content overlapping.

Color scheme updated: Blue header and footer navigation bars used.

Zoom Pro Activity in Moodle

We are migrating to Zoom pro in Moodle. All older zoom meetings currently in courses will be moved forward into the zoom pro configuration automatically.
