Reflection with Sample Apprenticeship Unit

Completion requirements
Due: Friday, January 17, 2014, 1:00 PM

What does this look like inside a classroom? Read this description of a teacher's experience with a sample unit.

I especially liked this piece because the teacher gives nitty-gritty details, and it helped me get what I needed before I was ready to tackle the big text. I'm always wondering, when people describe teaching methods. How do they actually pull it off? What do they say and do, and when, with the students?

My favorite visuals: The teacher provides a chart of how he rolled out the whole unit that helped me see the big picture (see  Exhibit 2.1 on p. 22 and 23) and a sample of a marked-up text that gave me an aha! moment (aha! this is not the same as annotation of content) (see Exhibit 2.4 on p. 34 and 35).
