Course Activity Types

Discussion Forums

In this course we have two required discussion forums, including the introduction forum. These are to engage in conversations about the different topics. Review each discussion forum’s directions to be sure to complete all work, and how to submit this activity type.

Peer Review

There are two peer review assignments. These will give you more experience with review of accessibility, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and practice using different tools. These are using discussion forums in small groups to which you will need to review one peer’s work for each peer review assignment. See complete directions directly in the peer review assignment for the work you will complete and how to submit.

Quiz

There is one automatically graded quiz in this course. It is automatically graded so you will see your score immediately and you will not have a time limit. Please review specific directions in the quiz itself.

Assignment

Assignments are primary projects you will be working on and submitting on your own. These assignments will be across a range of topics to meet our course outcomes and learning goals.  The capstone is an assignment as well. See the information for instructions, how to submit, and due dates in each assignment.

Activity Due Dates

Each Unit’s activity is due at the end of each week. These are soft due dates but you are highly encouraged to work through content in about 8 weeks.

Activity Feedback

Facilitator feedback will be provided within 1 week of the activity deadline for your cohort. For peer review activities expect to receive feedback by the due date of the peer feedback deadline.
