Find Support at LCC
The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) has announced that Oregonians who receive food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will not receive new benefits after October 31 if the federal government shutdown continues. Benefits will be issued as quickly as possible once federal operations resume.
For food assistance, the Titan Food Pantry remains open to all Lane students:
-
When: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., and Friday, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
-
Where: Main Campus, Center Building, Room 153. The pantry is located on the ground floor facing Building 12, with the entrance in the breezeway between the cafeteria and the main loading dock.
-
Closed: November 11; November 24–30; and December 13–January 4.
Students can also find additional food resources in the community through the following:
Tips to Prepare
-
Check your EBT card balance regularly and continue following SNAP rules/reporting requirements.
-
Planning lower-cost, shelf-stable meal ideas such as pasta, oats, beans, rice, canned items, and seasonal produce.
-
Freezing or preserving extra portions to reduce spoilage and food waste.
-
Visiting food pantries earlier rather than later, as supplies can run low during high-demand periods.
Lane Community College encourages any student facing food insecurity to reach out to the CARE program or visit the Titan Food Pantry for assistance and resources.

Your Voice Matters!
The Student Government Association (SGA) wants to hear from you about the Titan Food Pantry. We know that access to food can be challenging, and we want to better understand what barriers students face—like location, hours, or awareness—and what opportunities exist to support more students across campus. Your feedback will help guide future improvements and ensure the Pantry meets the real needs of our Titan community.
Share your thoughts! Stop by Center 201 and ask for an SGA officer or fill out our short feedback form to tell us what’s working and what could be better. Together, we can make food access easier for everyone at Lane.
