Today: Discover Oregon History: LGBTQ+ and Marriage Rights
Come learn about the history of the LGBTQ+ movement in Oregon and the fight for marriage rights at the Gender Equity Center in Building 1 on Wednesday, Nov., 12, 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Gaby Gardiner, Lead Statewide Engagement Manager for Basic Rights Oregon, will present. BRO's mission is "to ensure that all LGBTQ2SIA+ Oregonians experience equality by building a broad and inclusive politically powerful movement, shifting public opinion, and achieving policy victories." Light refreshments served.

Nov., 17 - 19: The Ceramic Arts Student Association is hosting our annual Fall Ceramics Sale in the Center building atrium in front of the library. Browse through & buy a variety of student-made artwork from 10:0 - 4:00 PM on each day! It’s a great time to shop for that perfect hand-made gift before the holidays. Cash and check ONLY!
Nov., 17–21: Come celebrate International Education Week with International Programs! Our Open House Culture Fair will include international foods, music, films, and interactive cultural activities. We hope to see you there!
Nov., 20 - 23: Sarah Ruhl reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and imaginative visuals, the play is a fresh look at a timeless love story. Come see the Blue Door as you've never seen it! Student Production Association welcomes guest artist and local Theatre influencer Eric Braman to direct. Performances are Thurs., - Sun., 7:30 PM in the intimate Blue Door Theater on Lane's main campus. Admission is free to all with cast donations gladly accepted at the door. No reservations needed. Recommended for audiences 13 and up.

RegFest!
Registration season is here! Students may want to take advantage of RegFest on Saturday, November 15 from 9:00 - 2:00 PM. on the first floor of Building 1. This event is designed for students:

who have not yet registered for the coming term, and/or
-
those needing assistance with Financial Aid, Advising, or Student Accounts (Bursar).
RegFests are popular events, so we recommend that students arrive before 1:00 p.m. to ensure they get served. Students unable to attend this event can always stop by the first floor of Building 1 during business hours to access any of these services.

Get Involved with Lane Titans Athletics & Recreation!
Whether you’re a competitor, a fan, or just looking to stay active, Lane Titans Athletics and Recreation has something for everyone. Cheer on our championship teams, join intramural activities, or drop in for open gym time. Students can enjoy free access to fitness and recreation opportunities, including basketball (weekdays 11:30 - 12:30 PM), badminton (Tues., & Thur., 11:30 - 12:30 PM), and more. Staying active is a great way to meet new people, relieve stress, and build Titan pride!

From crafting eye-catching visuals to helping manage LCC SGA’s social media presence across Instagram and TikTok, she makes sure every update, event, and initiative reaches the students who make our campus thrive.
Where are you originally from?
San Diego, California
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to be outside in any capacity, so I am always going to enjoy a sidequest if it means getting out of the house. Hikes, the beach, dirty Chais, books, and listening to music are some of my favorite things and I'm looking forward to snowboarding this winter.
Tell me something about your role in SGA that you have become passionate about.
I am passionate about students being able to raise their voice to advocate for their education in a way that is most optimal
What impact(s) would you like to make during your time at LCC?
I would like to make an impact during my time at LCC by encouraging and fostering an environment where effective communication, sustainable, ethical practices are demonstrated by students on campus.
I also want to hear from you about the Titan Food Pantry. Fill out our short feedback form to tell us what’s working and what could be better.

Do you have a concern about a class?
If you have a concern about a course your are taking, please talk with your instructor if you feel comfortable doing so. If not, please consider filling out a class concern form. Common class concerns can include: not posting grades in a timely manner, unexpected changes in class modality/delivery, unreasonable changes to the syllabus, and grade penalties for academic misconduct without the opportunity to explain.
