Sampler of materials from Anthology text

Here is a sampler of materials from the Reading Apprenticeship Anthology companion text. I didn't find this as inspiring as I had hoped, but maybe I'm not getting it. I do like using Malcolm X's reading history to spark debate, but I see these as more aimed at a Language Arts classroom.
