Introduction to the Commercial Buildings Energy Assessment Program

  • Introduction to the Commercial Buildings Energy Assessment Program

The CBEA Program is a pilot program developed by the US Dept of Energy and is a collaboration between Oregon State University Energy Assessment Center and the Lane Community College Energy Management Program.

Developed in October 2021, the program goals are to expand the workforce of qualified energy professionals and to create opportunities for diverse applicants by partnering students from OSU and LCC to conduct energy assessments of small-medium sized existing commercial buildings.

This platform has been developed to provide students with training modules designed to assist in understanding building systems and energy assessments.
