Students who are enrolled manually may not earn the credits they deserve and do not have the option to properly drop the course if they do not use ExpressLane/Banner to Register. Enrollment Options

  The study and practice of newsgathering and writing “objective” news stories. Discussions center on the concept of news and news values, ethics, interviewing and traditional journalism methods, and standards as practiced by established American newspapers.

By the end of the course students will have an understanding of the current media climate with a focus on print journalism and be able to write a publication-quality news story.

All documents used in this course, including the syllabus, are posted in a Drive folder. Log into Google to access it through your LCC account and the documents. I will make notes about my lectures on this whiteboard
