• Welcome to the FERPA Course for Student Workers

  • This course will introduce you to FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) so that you can act appropriately regarding students' privacy, broken down into 1 topic. 

    You will be quizzed at the end of the course. To be able to attempt the quiz, you must read and agree with the "Statement of FERPA Understanding".

    There is a Certificate of Completion Quiz where you can earn a certificate by demonstrating your understanding of the key points. You must receive at least at least 80% on the quiz to be able to earn your certification.

    When you are ready to take the quiz you can keep the resources website open to help find the answers. If you think you know the information you can always try taking the quiz first. You will have unlimited attempts for the quiz with a 2 hours delay between each attempt. Each attempt will have a new set of questions.
