Come Rock Out with RSO's
Looking to get involved and make the most of your time at LCC? There are so many ways to connect! Join the Geology Club and come play with rocks—whether you’re into crystals, fossils, or just want to get your hands dirty, it’s a fun way to explore and meet others who dig the Earth (literally). You can also check out PTK, meeting April 7 from 12:00–2:00 PM in Center Building Room 429—meet the leadership team, connect with new members, and learn what’s coming up this term.

Earth Week at LCC- April 14- 24 of Activities
Celebrate Earth Week at LCC with a variety of FREE, hands-on activities designed to connect you with nature and each other! Join us on main campus for events like yoga and meditation, bird and tree identification walks, rock identification, seed bomb making, and even native tree planting. Many of these activities are student-led, and there will be opportunities to win prizes throughout the week.
Don’t miss the grand opening of the Seed Library on April 14 from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM in the Library, hosted in partnership with HORT 120 students. Explore a wide variety of seeds—vegetables, herbs, and flowers—donated by our community. Whether you want to try growing something new or stock up for your garden, take what you need and start planting. After the opening, the Seed Library will be available during regular Library hours—so you can keep growing all season long!

Lane Will Use Canvas Starting Fall 2026
Lane Community College will continue using Moodle through Summer 2026, and Canvas will become the college’s main learning platform in Fall 2026. Updates, timelines, and help information will be shared on the Canvas Transition website, with additional student support and information provided leading up to the start of Fall 2026 term.

Get Active This Term
Stay active this term with expanded recreation opportunities at LCC! Students can now drop in for open weightlifting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00–10:00 AM. The gym is also open for casual play Monday through Friday from 10:00–11:00 AM, and pickleball is available by request on Fridays from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Stop by Building 5, Room 204 to learn more about all the ways you can stay active on campus.
While you’re there, don’t forget to pick up free recreation passes for Willamalane, Elevation Bouldering Gym, or ticket vouchers for a Eugene Emeralds game.
In Titan Athletics, the baseball team won 3 of 4 games against Clark last week, putting up an impressive 26 runs in Wednesday’s doubleheader. The Track and Field team also competed at the Jenn Boyman Memorial Invitational at Linfield University—check out Athletic.net and search Lane Community College to see full results.

Do you have a concern about a class?
If you have a concern about a course your are taking, please talk with your instructor if you feel comfortable doing so. If not, please consider filling out a class concern form. Common class concerns can include: not posting grades in a timely manner, unexpected changes in class modality/delivery, unreasonable changes to the syllabus, and grade penalties for academic misconduct without the opportunity to explain.
