Hello Instructors,

Your Summer 2016 courses are now available.  I will add student enrollments the week of June 6th.  Please make sure to make your course available when you are ready for students to access after June 6th.

If you need help with course design, settings, course migration, Meta course requests, etc., please contact us in the ATC (atc@lanecc.edu).

Course Design:
We have created a Quality Matters course template for anyone wanting to import all or part of this course into their shells.  The QM template is designed following the Quality Matters rubric to help instructors with course design.  We have received feedback from many students that they appreciate the simplicity and clear, consistent organization of this layout.

This template will help enable instructors to easily organize their courses to better serve students.  If you have any questions on the organization or how to import this template into your course please let me know.  The QM template can be accessed here: https://classes.lanecc.edu/course/view.php?id=40623

Please choose to self-enroll (non-editing teacher access).

Meta Courses:
A Meta course allows you to combine multiple sections into one Moodle shell.  If you teach multiple courses of the same section a Meta course allows you to better streamline your work and reduce the need to duplicate resources, activities, etc. into multiple courses.  If you would like a Meta course or have questions on this process please contact the ATC.

Archived Courses:
If you have courses you would like to retain a copy of from Summer 14, Fall 14, Winter 15, or Spring 15 please create a backup of your course and download the file to your computer.  I will be removing these terms from Moodle on July 1st.
