What to Bring with You to have an Impactful Tutoring Session

Tutoring is happening both on campus and in the Lane Support Hub Zoom Room

For specific information on location and hours of each center, please visit our tutoring site to get the most accurate, up-to-date information.

Drop-ins are welcome, but making an appointment is encouraged to guarantee time with a tutor.

Top Tips from Tutoring Services

  1. If your instructor has provided a written assignment description (in Moodle or somewhere else accessible) and/or grading rubric that includes specific requirements and expectations, please be prepared to go over this with your tutor.
  2. Tutors are better able to support students in an impactful way when they can read through the instructor’s requirements and expectations.
  3. It is immensely helpful to have access to this documentation, written in the instructor’s own words, to refer back to by both tutor and student as uncertainties and the need for clarification arise during tutoring sessions.

  • 1 student representative selected by the Council of Clubs

If you are a member of one of the organizations listed above and would like to be part of the SAFC Committee, please complete the SAFC Committee Interest Form
