Protect yourself and loved ones from flu and COVID-19

The flu season has started early this year in the United States. Lower your chances of getting the flu and feeling miserable by getting a flu shot now. Also, protect your loved ones before gathering with others for the holidays.

While you're at it, consider improving your protection against COVID-19 by getting an updated booster shot! You can get a flu shot and a COVID-19 booster shot at the same time at the LCC Student Health and Wellness Center, located at Building 18.

November 14 Moderna Bivalent Clinic

November 15 Flu Shot Clinic

Check the LCC Student Health and Wellness events website for more flu and COVID-19 booster clinics.

Why only study when you can “Study Jam!”?

Study at the Main Campus Library on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2-4 pm for Study Jam! All students are welcome to enjoy free Track Town Pizza, fruit, beverages, and cookies starting at 2 pm. Math, Biology, Writing and other tutors will also be there to help you prepare for finals. Check out our Makerspace, too.

Recycle hard-to-dispose plastic at Roundup 2022

Not all plastics can be recycled by local waste disposal. Reduce your plastics waste by bringing your #4 and #5 plastic tubs to the Plastics Roundup on November 17, 11 am-1 pm, at Building 10’s Recycling Warehouse East Entrance.

To be recyclable, the items MUST be clean and dry. Be sure to remove all decals and adhesive labels, too. Thank you for your effort.
