Mental Health Tip: Don't Forget About Yourself!

Self-care helps us lower our stress, avoid burnout, boost our immune systems, promote mental health and wellbeing, and increase our energy!

It can be difficult to find time to take care of ourselves, but finding something to do that brings you joy even once a week can be very beneficial. Here are some ideas:

  • Go for a walk
  • Create something
  • Connect with a friend or family member
  • Take a nap
  • Cook something new
  • Join a club on or off campus
  • Start reading a new book
  • Explore a new hobby

Mental Health and Wellness Center: Phone 1-541-463-5920 / Email: mhwc@lanecc.edu
