« America 2015 What has changed? What hasn't?

Human Progress

The African-American man running from a crowd of heavily-armed police officers seems like something you'd see in a history textbook. You'd think it's something 'We The People" have overcome in this age of information and innovation. But the reality is something altogether different. The stock narrative is that we, the American people, have overcome such a blight on our society, that racism is a thing of the past, and we shouldn't spend another second worrying about it. Then there's the hidden story here is that the threat of racsim is still very much real, no matter how the media may try to cover it up. The connections between 2015 and 1968 are clear: We the People are not free until we are all free. There is no justice so long as there is inequality.
