Accessibility Challenge Rules and Regs

  1. The contest is open Monday, May 8, 8am, and runs through Thursday, May 18, 11:59pm. (However, you should be in bed by then!)
  2. This contest is open to all Lane CC faculty.
  3. If you are here, you've already enrolled in the iGames Challenge! You may unenroll at any time.
  4. A new challenge opens every day at 8am during the CTL Spring Symposium.
  5. There are nine challenges and the time per challenge is estimated at 20 minutes. You may complete as many or as few challenges as you want. You can enter each challenge one time.
  6. Directions are included in the individual challenges so let the games begin! Don't worry, if you missed a challenge you can go back and complete any of the ones you missed up until closing time.
  7. Completion of a challenge automatically enters you into the drawing.
  8. Winners will be announced on Friday, May 19th.
  9. Post questions to the Q & A Forum.

Have fun–it's all about learning!

Win icons created by Eucalyp - FlaticonOh, wait, we did mention prizes, didn't we?!

Ok, no money, but hey life wouldn't be complete without teacher tech toys to help your Zooming (or teaching) experience be a little bit lovelier! We will be giving out prizes and winners can pick from the following:

  • How about an amazing ring light for perfect Zoom lighting! Are you tired of being in the dark? Do your students squint their eyes when they look at you? If so, this prize is for you!
  • Wait for it... bling, bling, bling! Are you tired of all the boring, repetitive Zoom backgrounds? How about dressing things up a bit with Phopollo LED string lights? They're not only bright and fancy but they come with a color-changing remote controller. Your students will love them (maybe)!
  • One more item–are you tired of borrowing stuff? Would you like your own handy-dandy headset complete with a microphone? If so, this prize is for you.
  • Oh yeah, giant candy bars for over-achievers that finish all nine challenges!

This project is sponsored by ID Services and is a part of the CTL Spring Symposium. For more information about the iGames contact Meredith Keene or Mel Stark at idservices@lanecc.edu
