Hello Instructors,

Initial Fall 2024 courses and enrollments are now available in Moodle. Additional courses and enrollments for future terms (i.e. Winter 2025) may also be available to you in the coming months.

We are still ironing out a few kinks in our scripts that synchronize information from Banner (Student Information System). If you don’t see your section listed, please check the class schedule to ensure your department administrator has added you as the instructor of record prior to contacting the ATC.

⚠️ Reminder: Important Changes to Course Rollout

  1. Courses will be available earlier (eventually up to 2-3 terms ahead) and include both instructor and student enrollments.
  2. Be sure to leave courses "hidden" to prevent early access. Course start/end dates set when the course appears in students "current courses" dashboard but do not prevent students from accessing the course.
  3. Be cautious when testing forums or changing content to avoid unintended notifications to students. Working in a separate development shell is an easy way to ensure course edits don't effect students β€” use our online form to request as many as you need.

Additional Tips:

  • If you know your course will be re-assigned, contact the ATC to back up or reset content that may already exist inside the course.
  • Report incorrect course titles to the ATC if they don't match your last name. Last name mismatches often occur when a course is re-assigned. A correctly named course ensures we're able to locate the course in the future.
  • Too many courses in your dashboard? Use course filters (In progress, Future, Past, Starred, Removed from View) to more easily manage and locate courses.

➑️ To help you close out a previous course or to open an upcoming course you can follow our recommended Moodle course Start of Term and End of Term procedures.
