Weeks of Welcome: Get Ready for an Epic Start!
Week 1: Tuesday (Jan., 6 -7): Stop by Center Plaza for free snacks and coffee, look for the folks in bright yellow vests to help you find your classes! | 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Week 2: Wednesday (Jan., 15): Resource Fair Discover all the campus has to offer at the Resource Fair – freebies and info galore! | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and learn How to Start a Club in CEN 202.| 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Week 3: Tuesday (Jan., 21): Find your next big gig! Stop by the Student Job Fair for on-campus jobs | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Week 4: Wednesday (Jan., 29): Join the LCC community in honoring Dr. King by attending special lectures that are for our historically marginalized communities as well as their allies with Trymaine Gaither, Special Assistant to the Provost for Inclusive Excellence and faculty member at Washington State University. Thursday (Jan., 30): Join the fun! Explore student clubs and organizations at the Student Engagement Mixer | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PMWeek 5: Monday (Feb., 3): Pop on in for Popcorn and Presidents – Enjoy FREE popcorn while and connect with leaders of your college. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share your ideas, or just chill! | 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Are you interested in enhancing your leadership skills, meeting new people, and gaining fresh ideas to inspire your campus community? Join Student Government Association for an exciting Student Leadership Conference at Portland State University on Thur., Feb., 6, 2025!
This all-day trip is completely free for Lane Community College students. We will provide transportation to and from Portland State University, and meals will be included throughout the day. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow as a leader, network with fellow students and professionals, and bring back new perspectives to make a difference on campus.

Week Attendance and Activity Requirements
Don’t get dropped from your classes!
For in-person courses, you must attend the class in the first week. For online courses, you must log in and complete an exercise if there is one.
Important Date Reminder - Monday, 13 11:59 pm
Next Monday is the last day to drop a current term course and receive a full refund. If you’re using Financial Aid, be sure to check with an advisor first.

Tutoring front desk on campus is the STEM Zone in Building 16, Rooms 193 and 169! You can access tutoring support in any subject, check out calculators, or grab a free snack. Schedule your tutoring appointments through MyWCOnline or by dropping in to the STEM Zone Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm.
ATC-Digital Tool Hub Digital Tool Hub improve your workflow with software and allows you to succeed as a student. You check the Digital Tool Hub and find Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, is free for students with a Lane email.
Bus Pass Students who pay the $27/term student transportation fee are eligible to apply for a bus pass at any time for that term. This pass is valid from Jan., 1- Mar., 31.
Titan Food Pantry and Closet located in Center 153 (the "back" part of Center Building facing Building 12), for Winter 2025, Monday-Wednesday, 10 am-3 pm.
Lactation Room Parents nursing children have access to a lactation room located at the Gender Equity Center, Building 1, Suite 202.

Do you have a concern about a class? If you have a concern about a course your are taking, please talk with your instructor if you feel comfortable doing so. If not, please consider filling out a class concern form. Common class concerns can include: not posting grades in a timely manner, unexpected changes in class modality/delivery, unreasonable changes to the syllabus, and grade penalties for academic misconduct without the opportunity to explain.
