Explore student clubs and organizations at the Student Engagement Mixer | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PMWeek 5: Monday (Feb. 3): Pop on in for Popcorn and Presidents – Enjoy FREE popcorn while and connect with leaders of your college. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share your ideas, or just chill! | 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Looking to get connected? Walk through Center Building second floor to see what adventures you may find down Candy Cane Lane! This week there will be tables set up with information about all the active (and starting) student clubs and organizations on campus.
Join us this Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Center Building Plaza for a fun and exciting Candyland-themed event. There will be free mocktails to enjoy, along with a variety of snacks to keep you energized. Students will also have the chance to win prizes throughout the event.
This is a great opportunity to meet over 15 student clubs and organizations, explore ways to get involved on campus, and connect with your peers. The event is hosted by the Council of Clubs and is open to all students.

Coming to LCC on Wednesday, January 29, 5:30 - 7:00 P.M., in building 10 auditorium, Trymaine Gaither will give a free community talk as the Special MLK Day Special Speaker at the Building 10 Auditorium. With a focus on cultivating inclusive environments, Trymaine will talk about mindfulness practices and self-compassionate leadership.

Jan. 30: Titan Basketball will host Umpqua on Wednesday 5:30 for Women, @ 7:30 for Men. Students watch for free.
Jan. 31: DUE DATE President’s Student Leadership Circle at Lane Community College, a unique program that connects students with leaders across various sectors. This opportunity will help you develop leadership skills, increase self-awareness, and explore professional pathways. For more information and application requirements, please email Nicole Vickers at vickersn@lanecc.edu.
Feb. 5: Join the Common Read for a Community Tea Party from 2:30 - 4 PM in the Center Bldg (outside the Library). In honor of Dex, a traveling tea monk in Panga, enjoy a cup of tea and discuss A Psalm for the Wild-Built. You don't have to finish the book before the event, just come as you are. We will provide some questions as conversation starters.
Feb. 13 - 15: The Student Production Association is proud to present Winter Shorts! Each winter term, SPA hosts a celebration of ten-minute plays written and directed by students. Join us at the Blue Door Theatre on LCC’s Main Campus to watch the next generation of theatre professionals! All performances are free to the public, but donations are gladly accepted. No need for reservations as seating is available at the door starting at 7:30 P.M., and on Feb. 16 at 2:00 P.M.

Lane Poetry AllianceWhether you're a seasoned poet or just beginning to explore the world of verse, our club offers a safe space to share, discuss, and appreciate poetry in all its forms. Join us as we celebrate language, emotion, and the unique voice of every poet.
Assists American Indian, Alaskan Natives, and Indigenous peoples in maintaining cultural values while pursuing their educational goals. NASA emphasizes the support, safety, and the educational success of the Native Americans and other ethnicities of Lane Community College. NASA is also involved in the recruitment of Native American high school students and the retention of college students as they pursue their Post-Secondary Education.

Tutoring: (Building 19, Room 193) will be open 9am-7pm on Wednesday, January 29th and Thursday, January 30th to help you prepare for midterms! We will have tutoring, snacks, and study spaces available. Come see us!

Sustainability input needed! Please provide your input of this list of potential sustainability actions related to LCC's Climate Action Plan 3.0 update process. Do you have a concern about a class? If you have a concern about a course your are taking, please talk with your instructor if you feel comfortable doing so. If not, please consider filling out a class concern form. Common class concerns can include: not posting grades in a timely manner, unexpected changes in class modality/delivery, unreasonable changes to the syllabus, and grade penalties for academic misconduct without the opportunity to explain.
