Good news — As of this morning, embedded video thumbnails and players should be working again in your courses, including videos added through the Kaltura tool in the HTML editor.
Open LMS has released a fix that resolved the issue with Kaltura videos not embedding correctly. The problem was indeed traced to a non-updated filter plugin used for embedding Kaltura videos. No additional action is needed on your part.
I've spot checked several courses and videos previews are embedding within pages and assignments as intended. If you're still seeing issues, please reach out to the ATC (atc@lanecc.edu) or myself (moodleadmin@lanecc.edu) ASAP so we can reopen the support ticket.
