Instructors,
Our campus Information Technology Department has scheduled all-campus network maintenance for Friday, August 22, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. During that window, Moodle’s standard login page will not work, and you won’t be able to log in as you normally would (with your L-number and password).
Users needing access during that time must use the Google or Microsoft sign-on options—those will still work when the regular login is down.
For students with quizzes or timed work due that night:

If they’re already signed into Moodle before 7 PM and keep that browser tab open, they won’t be kicked off mid-quiz.

If they close their browser or log out, they’ll need to log back in using the Google or Microsoft option. It’s worth having students test the Google and Microsoft login options ahead of time to make sure those work for them.
Please share this with your students as they may have overlooked the email message from IT.
