⚠️ Moodle v3.7 Upgrade Complete as of Friday, December 27th | 11:30am (PST)
Our Moodle hosting provider will be applying a software upgrade on Friday, December 27th between 12:30am-11:30am Pacific Standard Time (PST). During this upgrade, classes.lanecc.edu will be unreachable and/or slow to respond so please plan accordingly.
New Features Include:
Forums: ‘Inline’ Adding and replying for discussions, star and sort discussions, and manual locking of discussion threads.
Assignments: New icons allow you to Rotate submitted PDFs within the assignment grader.
Messaging enhancements include a link to a full page, 2 column view and the ability to mute conversations. A personal space is now made for notes, links and reminders as part of the Messaging drawer.

Sitewide Theme Changes
The site will transition to utilizing a dark blue top navigation bar and a light blue bottom footer, improving uniformity and navigation.
Major Mobile Only Browser Improvements
Increased space for page content.
Less thumb scrolling (yay!). Navigation breadcrumbs and page titles are hidden leaving more room for course content.
Gradebook and participant lists collapse to a simplified view.
Improvements in padding & layout to reduce content overlapping.
Moodle Mobile App
Improved app login process now done directly in the app.
Upon login, the user is immediately directed to their dashboard and list of courses.
Partial color scheme update: Color scheming for the header, footer and navigation instead of the Moodle’s original orange color scheme. Note: These are the first steps to these changes so watch out for more updates in the future.
Zoom Pro Activity in Moodle
We are migrating to Zoom pro in Moodle. All older zoom meetings currently in courses will be moved forward into the zoom pro configuration automatically.
