Welcome (again!) to summer term. In these strange times where it's not as easy to pop down the hall with a quick question, we've renamed the “Moodle Notifications & Training” course and expanded it into a space where faculty can check in, find help, receive important notifications, and share ideas. Join us any time in the new Instructor Support Hub on Moodle.Â
Over the course of the summer, you'll see new tips for navigating online course building and teaching; a chance to share what's working (and what's not) in your own classes; and current information about how to access both Lane's live help resources and some outside Moodle help that we recommend.
Q. How do I access the Hub?
A. You already have access! — Just look for the Instructor Support Hub in your Moodle dashboard.
Q. Do I have to?
A. Nope! But we'd love to virtually see you there.
Q. Am I going to get lots of email?
A. Again, no. You'll still get a few necessary system emails each term (Moodle system notifications), but if you want to hear from us or your peers more frequently, you can subscribe to the forum (or just pop in every once in a while).
We hope you're having a good start to July, and we look forward to collaborating with you further as the summer goes on.
