A reminder that LCC's main campus network will be intermittently offline from 6p-10p, Friday, March 11th, 2022 so that LCC's IT Department can complete required maintenance on the main campus core networking infrastructure .
➡️ Moodle, Google, Zoom, and other cloud hosted services will continue to function from off campus.
Zoom users: If you or your students SSO credentials fail, please authenticate using google institutional credentials or authenticate automatically by using the Zoom Pro Integration offered in Moodle.
If you are utilizing campus network services during the scheduled downtime, you will likely experience intermittent connectivity issues to the following services.
- ExpressLane
- Moodle on main campus
- LCC's website
- File storage including LaneDrive and FileHost
- WIFI on main campus
- All servers hosted on main campus
- Computer logins for computers on main campus and through VPN connections

🏝 Headed Out For Spring Break? — Us Too! Now Taking Any Last Minute Metacourse Request(s)
A Metacourse allows you to combine enrollments from multiple course sections into a single Moodle shell — reducing the need to duplicate resources, activities, etc. in multiple sections. If you would like a Metacourse, use our meta course request form or contact the ATC (atc@lanecc.edu) for assistance.
McGraw-Hill and Connect Integration Update
Apologies folks — the cart was out in front of the horse on this one. As a few instructors have dipped their toes into using the new integration, we’ve experienced some unexpected technical difficulties.
Unless you’re feeling extra adventurous, please continue to utilize the old (legacy) McGraw Hill Moodle block and course pairing process for Spring 2022. I've extended the roll over date and plan on leaving both integration options enabled through the end of Winter Term 2023 (longer if needed). I should also note that the new integration requires instructors to link to individual activities. This is an adjustment away from utilizing the Connect platform as a LMS and the main location to organize materials.
