At 6pm yesterday (Thursday, Oct. 12th), a message was sent by IT leadership stating, "At this point, we have been able to get systems back online and working. We are actively monitoring and will continue troubleshooting with our vendors to find root cause analysis of the problem."
Despite IT's best efforts to resolve issues with the vendor, we saw a resurgence of login errors this morning (Friday, Oct. 13th). As a solution, Moodle is now using a backup authentication source and all users should see an immediate improvement.
Please be aware that authentication issues may have prevented students from accessing their Moodle assignments and exams until 12:45 p.m. today. I kindly ask that you keep this in mind as students reach out to you and or the Student Help Desk (SHeD) for assistance.
