Titans take on Clackamas and Chemeketa in basketball

 

Titan Basketball hosts Clackamas Community College on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2 pm (Women) and 4 pm (Men). LCC hosts Chemeketa Community College on Monday, Jan. 29, 5:30 pm (Women) and 7:30 pm (Men).

Counselor-led group counseling available at Building 18

 
The Student Health and Wellness Center is offering counselor-led drop-in group counseling this January. Below is a list of subject matter, times and dates.
 
TREM (Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model): A woman's group focusing on education and recovery from trauma meets Wednesdays 10 am-12 pm beginning Jan. 17 at the Zen Den (Building 18).
 
Cross-Cultural Care Cooperative: A co-ed mental health and support group meant for connecting people from cross cultural backgrounds (International, first generation, BIPOC) in order to grow their support networks, discuss stressors, and gather help in navigating life's ups and downs. This group meets Tuesdays 1-2 pm beginning Jan. 16 at the Zen Den (Building 18).
 
Wellness Warriors: A co-ed group intended to provide guidance around a variety of topics and an opportunity to process situations, emotions and stressors meets Wednesdays 1-2 pm beginning Jan. 17 at the Zen Den (Building 18).

More groups!: neurodivergent, habit change, meditation

 

Here are three more counselor-led groups students can join:

  • Habit Change Group: Want support to follow through on your New Year's resolution? Meet Fridays, 12-1 pm at the Zen Den (Building 18).
  • Meditation Group: Want more peace and focus in your life? Connect with your peers wanting more tranquility. Meet Tuesdays, 11-11:45 am, starting Feb. 13, at the Zen Den (Building 18).
  • Neurodivergent Support Group: Connect with peers who identify as neurodivergent. Meet Wednesdays, 12-1 pm, starting Feb. 14, at the Zen Den (Building 18).

2024-25 scholarship application deadlines are right around the corner! For help with your LCC Foundation, Ford Family Foundation, and OSAC applications, please attend our drop-in workshops or visit our office.

Local bus service hiring drivers, meet LTD on Jan. 30

 
LTD is hiring for Bus Operators (starting at $24.01/hour) and Public Safety Officers (starting at $19.13/hour). Benefits are 100% employer paid. LTD will pay and train you to get your Commercial Driver License (CDL)!
