CARE at Building 4 assists with food, housing, childcare

 

CARE at Lane can assist students who are experiencing challenges with access to food, housing, healthcare, childcare, or other basic need emergencies. Please visit the CARE team in the Career Pathways department to meet with a coach during drop in hours Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Fridays 8:30 am-2 pm. You can also fill out this  interest form  and a coach will reach out to you directly if you prefer to schedule an appointment.

Join LCC's official honor society every Monday, 2-3 pm

 
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is Lane's official honor society. PTK promotes scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service. Join us for our weekly meetings Mondays 2-3pm in Center 202 to meet your fellow members and learn more about our Sigma Zeta chapter. Members are encouraged to attend, and guests are always welcome!

UO hosting career, internship expo on Feb. 1, 12-4 pm

 
LCC students planning to transfer to University of Oregon are invited to attend the UO Winter Career & Internship Expo 2024 on Thu., Feb. 1, 12-4 pm, at the EMU Ballroom. There is no need to for LCC students to register or RSVP. Students can just show up. At the event check-in station, let UO Career Center representatives know that you're from LCC, provide your name and e-mail address, and then you can go explore.

Library hosting poetry reading on Feb. 7, 12:30-2 pm

 
The LCC Library will be hosting a poetry reading on Wed., Feb. 7, 12:30-2 pm. We're excited to be joined by some highly esteemed local poets: Anthony Robinson, Laura LeHew, Ce Rosenow, and Tim Shaner. Light refreshments will be available, and LCC student poets are encouraged to bring a poem of their own to read. Join us in the Center Building, Room 229 (inside the Library)! Free rapid at-home COVID tests at Student Health Clinic

 

The Health Clinic is here for you. Eligible credit students have access to the Health Clinic, which includes free visits with a Health Care provider for many of your health care needs.
Respiratory virus season is upon us. While the Health Clinic is happy to see you if you are not feeling well and think you need medical attention for your illness, many respiratory viruses can be taken care of at home. Tips on how to take care of yourself when you are sick can be found here.


The Health Clinic has FREE rapid COVID-19 tests. Come by and grab one to have at home before you need it, or check out our self-care station. Building 18, Room 101. The Health Clinic sees patients by appointment. Call 541-463-5665 to make an appointment.
