Moodle: Intermittent Connectivity - Site Services Restored

Instructors,

Early this afternoon we experienced a rare occurrence in which our Moodle server (classes.lanecc.edu) was unexpectedly inaccessible to students and instructors both on/off campus.

Intermittent Moodle connectivity was initially reported at ~1:45pm and wasn't considered resolved till ~4:15pm. Please note that students attempting to submit their work during this time would have experienced extreme difficulties.

We are awaiting an analysis and explanation from our hosting company as to the cause of the interruption.
