Free sexual health testing at GEC and Health Center

 
The HIV Alliance will be providing free rapid testing for HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C ,for any members of the community on Thu., Feb. 8, 11 am-3 pm, at the Student Health Center (Building 18, Room 101), and Wed., Feb. 14, 11 am-2 pm, at the Gender Equity Center (Building 1, Room 202). Eligible students can get free or low cost Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing provided by the Student Health Clinic.

March 1 and April 1 2024-25 scholarship application deadlines are fast approaching! For help with your LCC Foundation, Ford Family Foundation, and OSAC applications, please attend our drop-in workshops or visit our office. Upcoming Drop-In Workshops:

Titan Basketball plays Umpqua and Portland this week

 
Titan Basketball takes on Umpqua Community College on Wed., Feb. 7 at the Building 5 Gym: Women at 5:30 pm and Men at 7:30 pm. See the Titans take on Portland Community College on Sat., Feb. 10, also at Building 5 Gym: Women at 2 pm and men at 4 pm.

Celebrate spring by registering for 2024 with Reg Fest

 
Student Affairs will be offering drop-in assistance in advising, registration, and financial aid for Spring 2024 students at Building 1, Room 102-103, 9 am-2 pm. These Reg Tests are on Feb. 21, Mar. 6, and Mar. 23, and it is open to ALL students. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. Students presenting 10-minute plays, Feb. 22-24, 25

 

The Student Production Association is proud to present the 2024 Winter Shorts! Each winter term, SPA hosts a celebration of ten-minute plays written and directed by students. Join us at the Blue Door Theatre on LCC’s Main Campus from Feb. 22-24 at 7:30 pm, and Feb. 25 at 2 pm to watch the next generation of theatre professionals! All performances are free to the public but donations are gladly accepted. No need for reservations as seating is available at the door. Contact haimbachb@lanecc.edu for more information.

Find your community at the Gender Equity Center in Building 1, Room 202 with these fun and educational February events. The Feb. 7 movie with popcorn will be Before Stonewall, a documentary about "The history of the Gay and Lesbian community before the Stonewall riots began the major gay rights movement."
 
Feb. 21, 12-3 pm: Create LGBTQ+ pride necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and keychains. Feb. 28 during GEC open hours, paint rocks to express LGBTQ+ pride. Every Tuesday, 2-4 pm: play games with friends.
